]]> Supercharge has now delivered several new chargers to Boreal Travel in Bergen, allowing the tour bus business to continue its climate-friendly journey. The tour buses have a range of 350 kilometers, and when they reach this limit, they must charge. With the new lightning chargers from Supercharge, two electric buses can charge simultaneously and fill their batteries in around 2-3 hours.

 

 

The lightning chargers offer 360 kW, which is shared among all charging points. The electrification of the tour buses benefits not only the climate but also the local environment. Boreal’s electric buses reduce CO2 and other greenhouse gas emissions, while also eliminating noise and smoke from the roads. Now, both drivers and passengers can travel comfortably and with a clear conscience.

 

The collaboration extends not only to Boreal’s department in Bergen but also to those in Stavanger, Stryn, Trondheim, Nordkapp, Alta, and Honningsv氓g.

In 2021, Posten made a commitment to halt orders for fossil fuel vehicles, marking the beginning of a transition to electric fleet. The company currently operates one of Norway’s largest EV fleets, comprising 897 electric vans and trucks.
